ALIEN DEPORTED

ALIEN DEPORTED
#Deportation #Happy Birthday

2013
Photography, bookbinding

On May 27, 2010, after landing at JFK airport, I was stopped by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) staff member,
questioned for hours and then immediately deported from the Unites States for having worked during a previous trip without a proper visa.
The procedure lasted some hours and ended in a 5-years ban from the country.
It was my birthday and a quite unexpected and overwhelming experience.
